The consequences of extreme energy consumption are seen both in the and environmental crisis. Subsequently, researchers attempting to find methods address this issue. Building envelopes insulation materials elements that can effectively influence through their passive effect on thermal comfort levels. Strategies pertaining rely both, advanced traditional materials, have been able show good potential. However, technical complexity using such strategies be impeded from perspective developing countries. With aim creating effective low-cost feasible insulations minimal intricacies, potentials simple amalgamation is empirically investigated study. In context, closed-cell rigid Polyurethane (PU) foam used as a base hold phase change (PCMs) create two PU/PCM panels, different PCM content. performance panels experimentally examined compared, with hot-arid climates prevailing countries mind. Results revealed containing PCMs were perform more comparison regular PU and, increasing amount has also shown advantageous regard.
